June’s What’s Up Downtown event, hosted by the Downtown Development Board and the Community Redevelopment Agency, will focus on Creative Placemaking. The event is on June 2, at 5:30 p.m., and will be hosted at Snap! Downtown in 420 E. Church Street [GMap].
Along with moderator Michael McLeod, Editor at Large of Winter Park Magazine and Arts Writer for Orlando Magazine, our panel of speakers will be Executive Director of the City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency, Thomas C. Chatmon Jr.; Founder & President of Orlando City Soccer Club, Phil Rawlins; Founder of Snap! Orlando Patrick Kahn; Principal, Brand Strategy & Communications of Baker Barrios Architects & Chair of the Downtown Arts District, Shanon Larimer; and Vice Chair of the Downtown Arts District, Tiffany Sanders.
