Urban Think Foundation, the parent organization of Burrow Press and Page 15, is returning to the former home of its old Urban Think bookstore in Thornton Park.
Page 15 will be hosting its 9th annual Young Writers Summer Camp in the vacant Urban ReThink space (Orlando’s first coworking space) for seven weeks this summer. The camp exposes young writers to countless artists, editors, book designers, and volunteers and takes them through the storytelling process in a low-pressure, non-classroom environment. At the end of the week, the kids are able to take home a book of their own creation.
Page 15 also provides scholarships. For more information on the summer camp, click HERE.
In addition to the camp, Burrow Press will be hosting a pop-up bookstore in the space as well. Burrow will be selling their own award-winning books as well as a selection of books by writers that have visited Orlando through their Functionally Literate reading series.
Editor’s Note: We have it on good authority that our own Orlando Shirts from shop.bungalower.com may be making an appearance as well.
