IMMERSE (Website) is accepting artist applications through July 16 for their fall, 2017 festival.
IMMERSE, formerly known as Creative City Project, is one of the largest festivals of the year and transforms Downtown Orlando into an interactive art experience, showcasing some of the best organizations, troupes, and creatives in the region. Past highlights have included pop-up ballet performances, U-Haul galleries, and Cirque du Soleil performers hanging from cranes.
This year will feature three “immersive” zones where artists and the audience can interact with each other through the installations. Festival organizers are looking to recruit creatives in the performing arts, media arts, and visual arts disciplines. All eligible applicants can apply for a stipend of $100-$500.
IMMERSE will take place on October 21, 2017.
