Townie Tourist (Facebook | Website) is a weekly series of tours, hosted by Orlando-native Jenny De Witt. De Witt takes viewers on a walking tour of a different neighborhood or cultural event each Saturday at 10 a.m. and broadcasts it using Facebook Live.
On Saturday, July 8, the Townie Tourist took a ride on the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour, a guided tour of Winter Park’s Chain of Lakes, by pontoon, and covers development and stories of community life from the start of the early settlement of the area to the present day. The Boat Tour is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and costs only $14 per person.
