As the City prepares for the upcoming hullaballoo that is Wrestlemania fans will have the opportunity to take their photo in front of a massive Championship Title belt replica that will be unveiled at Lake Eola on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:30 p.m.
Wrestlemania will be taking place the week of Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Camping World Stadium. It is being touted as being the single-largest event to ever come to town, with an expected 100,000 people attending. 101,763 fans attended the 2016 event in Arlington, Texas.
The replica Championship was created by the Local Organizing Committee and measures 30’ x 12’ and is meant to serve as photographic backdrop for tens of thousands of WWE fans from around the world. The Championship will be on display through WrestleMania.
As we learned in the recent Connect DTO session, Wrestlemania is expected to have an impact of $150M on the local economy.
