Global Peace 360 (Website) has launched a new family-friendly film series at the Orlando Science Center called Storytime Cinema, featuring classic films that were inspired by “imaginative tales and award-winning children’s books.”
Each film promotes themes of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and highlights messages of self-awareness, environmental stewardship, exploration, friendship, and empathy.
Selected 2025 films include:
- Jan. 11 | Inside Out (2015)
- Feb. 8 | Labyrinth (1986)
- Mar. 8 | The Iron Giant (1999)
- April 12 | Bambi (1942)
- May 10 | Flubber (1997)
- June 14 | The Absent-Minded Professor (1961)
- July 12 | The Little Prince (2015)
- Aug. 9 | Dolphin Tale (2011)
- Sept. 13 | Charlotte’s Web (1973)
- Oct. 11, 2025 | Monsters, Inc. (2001)
- Nov. 8 | E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
- Dec. 13 | The Good Dinosaur (2015)
Screenings will take place on the second Saturday of each month and is free to attend for Orlando Science Center members and day guests. Families with EBT or WIC cards can get admission to the movies for $3.
