Orlando Museum of Art (Website) will once again host its annual tradition of Festival of Trees from November 16-24, showcasing hundreds of custom decorated trees that are available for purchase, with proceeds going to support the museum.
The ten-day even is celebrating its 38th year with the theme “Let the Joy of the Season Shine,” and is hosted by the Council of 101. Last year’s event succeeded in raising $510,000 to support museum programming.
The festival features artisanal gingerbread creations, pop-up shops, holiday vignettes, and drawing for holiday-inspired tabletop displays.
The festival will kick off with an opening night “Tree View” party at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 15. Other featured events include a Breakfast with Santa on November 16, 17, 23, from 8-10 a.m. A Reindeer Romp family-friendly meet-and-greet with Santa Claus will take place on November 22 at 6:30 p.m. and a Silent Disco Jam Party is scheduled for November 23 from 8-10:30 p.m.
