A new six-part HBO series called It’s Florida, Man premiered this weekend, sharing half-hour real-life stories that happened in Florida, inspired by the Florida Man headlines and memes that have residents shaking their heads in amusement and shame.

The first episode featured a story from Orlando starring Sam Richardson as Phil, a Disney cast member who finds himself in need of some quick cash and posts on Craigslist that he’s willing to “do anything for money,” and the chaos that results.

It’s shocking, it’s gross, and everyone’s talking about it.

I didn’t want to spoil it for you, so if you clicked on this, it’s fair game.

Phil is trying to get money to go to a concert. Which he apparently really wants to go to, given the lengths he’s willing to go to in order to buy a ticket. This becomes all the more apparent when a man emails him saying he’ll give him $4,000 if he comes over to his place, cuts off two of his toes, cooks them, and eats them in front of him.

The name of the episode is “Toes,” and Phil’s story juxtaposes a first-hand interview with scenes that are reenacted by actors like the aforementioned Sam Richardson, Randall Park, and SNL’s Ego Nwodim.

Upcoming episodes include “Gator” on October 25, and “Mermaids” on November 1.
