MURAL BY NEMOS
The City of Orlando is looking for four artists to design and create a mural during the upcoming Sustainability Symposium (Website) on Monday, January 9 at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center.
The mural must be based on the seven pillars of the City’s Green Works sustainability initiative: Energy and Green Buildings, Local Food, Green Economy, Livability, Solid Waste, Transportation, and Water.
Chosen artists will work collaboratively to paint a mural live during the event, on a 4×10 wood panel that will be placed inside performing arts center.
To apply, send five images of your work with descriptions and medium used and a brief written statement explaining your past mural experience and your interest in the project, to LeAnn Siefferman at leann.siefferman@gmail.com.
