The Orange County Library System is hosting an art exhibition through August 30, 2021, featuring the work of New York graffiti artist Fernando Miteff.
Miteff, also known as Nic 707 (Website), is credited for contributing to the emergence of graffiti culture in New York in the 1970s. Miteff is also known for a series of pop-up installations that he hosted in train cars and buses which he called “InstaFame Phantom Art.”
Nic 707 passed away in early 2020 from COVID-19 and now the downtown library branch is host to the first public exhibition of his work outside of New York City.
The downtown library is located at 101 E. Central Boulevard [GMap].
