2018 Bike the Mayor to Work Day
The City of Orlando’s 19th Annual Bike to Work Day, a community bike ride through Downtown Orlando with Mayor Dyer, will be held on Friday, November 2, starting from Orlando Festival Park. Please join us before the ride for free coffee, bike tune-ups and raffle prizes provided by our sponsors.
Lunch & Learn: Genealogy
For the past several months, History Center staff have been working with five local influencers as they explore their DNA and family histories. The results reveal a great deal about the rich heritage and diversity of our Central Florida community. Join us to explore what we learned, what brick walls we hit, and what types of resources are available to you in Central Florida to begin your own genealogical journey.
Ride the Rails Tour
Art, history, food, beer, and the SunRail. This limited time tour will only be available on Friday nights in November and December. Grab your tickets before this one is gone! On this 4-hour walking+riding tour, your Tour Guide will take you to two art museums, one in Downtown Orlando and one in Winter Park, via the SunRail.
City Unseen – A New [AR]t Experience: Opening night
Snap! Orlando’s ‘CITY UNSEEN’ is an ongoing public art project with in-gallery experiences, exhibitions, and installations across Orlando. This project opens artistic borders by launching the city into Augmented Reality experiences, with brilliant fusions of works by internationally renowned artists and cutting-edge AR technology.
Movie Night at Leu: Avengers Infinity War
We are showing Avengers Infinity War Gardens open at 6:00 p.m., Movie time at 7:30 p.m. You may bring a dinner picnic basket and seating. Alcohol is permitted. This movie is rated PG13. Under 13 years of age requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
