The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center in the Downtown Library will host their first-ever Melrose Film Festival on Saturday, September 15.
The day-long event kicks off at 10 a.m. with a showcase of 48 films that have been curated from 2,800 submissions from around the world
Featured speakers include Valeska Freire, a filmmaker and founder of Magic Haus Films, and Terry Olson, director of Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs.
The fest will run through 5 p.m.
