A silent auction will be hosted from 2-6 p.m. at the Will’s Pub compound (Will’s Pub, lil’ indies, and Dirty Laundry) in the Mills 50 District on August 12, featuring artfully-painted liquor bottles.
Twenty local artists have painted one full liquor bottle each that will be auctioned off that day. Proceeds will be donated to the Zebra Coalition (Website). All bottles have been provided by the event sponsor, William Grant and Sons. Silent auction starts at $40 per bottle.
Outdoors there will be food trucks, vendors, cotton candy, popcorn, balloon animals and DIY carnival games. We hear there will be a wandering magician so hide your rabbits.
Will’s Pub will feature the 20 Penny Circus, a hypnotist performer named Larry Silver, and a burlesque show organized by the creator of Cocktail Cabaret with four performers, including two from New Orleans.
Lil’ indies will host a palm reader.
Will’s Pub and it’s adjacent sister venues are located at 1042 N. Mills Avenue [GMap].
