Movieola – Peter Rabbit
Bring the family to Lake Eola Park the last Friday of each month through August for a free movie, games and food available for purchase. This month, we will be showing Peter Rabbit. Activities start at 6 p.m., with the movie airing at 8:15 p.m. About the film: Feature adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic tale of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden.
Summer Block Paw-ty presented by Pig Floyds
Grab your pups and meet us for a SUMMER CELEBRATION in The Mennello Museum of American Art’s Sculpture Garden! Join us for our Summer Block Paw-ty presented by Pig Floyd’s Urban Barbakoa! Art After Dark is the Downtown Arts District’s newest program created to introduce young professionals to the Arts District and its mission through social interaction, arts engagement, and networking. Guests will enjoy the celebration in a unique setting by strolling through CityArts Factory’s seven different galleries. The evening’s festivities will include interactive art experiences, meet & greet opportunities with special guest artists, music, photo opportunities, a silent auction, craft cocktails, and gourmet lite bites from local restaurants.

Perú Independence Day Celebration
The Orlando Museum of Art and the RAYMI Dance Company will celebrate and share Perú Independence Day with the Central Florida community with film, music and dance. “I Will Dance Again” (Volveréa Bailar Por Ti) is a 50-minute sensory and performative exploration of the Virgen de Candelaria Feast in Puno City, Perú, and the Aymara and Qechua ethnicities. Following the film screening, the RAYMI Dance Company will demonstrate four different dances from the cities of Cuzco, Lima, Puno and Trujillo.
Nerf Olympic Games with Central 28
Exciting Announcement: This year’s Summer Nerf Olympic Games are being held right here in the Garten on Saturday, July 28! Join us and Central 28 Beer Co. for the ultimate tests of accuracy, speed, and agility. Each of these 3 rounds comes with a prize from the brewery, and we’ll have special beers on tap.
