Moovie Night in The Milk District @The Cookery
Moovie Night in The Milk District is back! This time we’re taking over The Cookery – An Artisanal Market on South Street! A free outdoor movie featuring Fried Green Tomatoes, which we’re pairing up with some delicious FGT dishes from Dixie Dharma and Market On South! Yummmmmmmm…. Moovie Night is presented by Realtor Ricky of National Real Estate and will be shown on the back lot of The Cookery, starting at 8:30 pm.
Blacksuede Sonics presents: Terribly Wrong
“Terribly Wrong “ Is the first installment of the Blacksuede Sonics series of audio and visual nights showcasing electronic music that goes beyond the cliches and mainstream trends of trap, dubstep, and EDM. The music styles for this particular series ranges in the styles of Dark Underground Bass, Industrial Funk, IDM, Drum and Bass, Downtempo/Lofi Hip Hop, Breakcore and Ambient.
Kraft Azalea Garden Community Park Workday
Activities may include but are not limited to weeding, mulching, and planting – stooping, kneeling, and bending. Please meet us at the park at 8:30 a.m. Gardening supplies and water will be provided. Please remember to bring a reusable water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, hats, and long pants, and carpool.

2018 Pony Fair and Collector’s Convention
Join other collectors and fans who share a common passion for MY LITTLE PONY over two fun-filled days! Celebrate this iconic toy, show off your artistic skills in one of our many contests, test your pony knowledge, add new ponies to your collection, and so much more! This year’s 2018 Pony Fair offers something for everyone, but will have a primary focus on toy collecting and topics of interest to collectors.
Juneteenth Celebration
The Heritage Center Juneteenth Celebration will feature performances and storytelling including a presentation of the H.I.S. Project, Lost But Not Forgotten, a live reenactment of the renowned educator and activist, Mary McLeod Bethune, and Storyteller, Minny the Mule. There will be live music including steel drums, food, and more. This celebration will be free and open to the public.
3rd Festival of the Sea – Seafood Festival – Orlando
Festival of the Sea is a family event meant to bring out those who share one thing in common, the love of seafood. An amazing outdoor experience with multiple seafood vendors serving all of your favorites, but you will also have an opportunity to enjoy our a full beer & wine garden and our Arts & Crafts vendors.

Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race
Explore the history of the early 20th-century international eugenics movement and the complicity of physicians and scientists in Nazi racial policies. This exhibition challenges us to reflect on the present-day interest in genetic manipulation that promotes the possibility of human perfection. This exhibition has been made possible by The Lerner Foundation and Eric F. and Lore Ross, with additional support from the Lester Robbins and Sheila Johnson Robbins Traveling and Special Exhibitions Fund established in 1990.
