EDIT: Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment wanted everyone to know, via Donovan Public Relations, that Questlove only helped curate it, but that it’s not all about him.
Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots has curated and directed an estate-approved celebration of Prince that will be coming to the Dr. Phillips Center on Sunday, October 7, called “4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince.”
The evening will feature everything from the artist’s lesser-known hits to the ones you sing in your car on the way to the grocery store, all played by a top-tier band that has been hand-selected by Questlove himself in front of a video presentation that features never-before-seen footage from Prince’s estate.
Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Friday, May 18 HERE.
