Accidental Music Festival (Website) is an annual avant-garde classical, jazz, electronic festival that has been holding pop-up performances for the past eight years.
AMF will be hosting a day-long marathon concert event on Saturday, May 12 at the SoDo Shopping Center featuring the music of 18 ensembles and soloists, playing music by living composers.
The free event will feature rotating sets of 20-minute performances with informal talks between each from 1-10 p.m. The lineup includes performances by the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, Belt and Ramirez, null-state, Elizabeth Baker, Alterity Woodwind Quintet, Jim Ivy’s Tangled String Ensemble, Aveleon, Haley Stickney, Luis Guerrero, and more.
This event is co-presented by the Timucua Arts Foundation and SoDo District.
