The Mennello Museum of American Art (Website) will host work by the multi-media Korean-American artist, Jiha Moon, in an upcoming solo exhibition, Jiha Moon: Double Welcome, Most Everyone’s Mad Here.

Moon is based in Atlanta, Georgia but peppers cultural elements from Korea, Japan, and China into her work. This new exhibition features over 50 works that juxtapose subjects like Angry Birds and emojis alongside Asian iconography and design elements.

The exhibition will be on display from June 22 to August 12 at the Ivanhoe-based museum, located at 800 E. Princeton Street [GMap]. A preview and opening reception is scheduled for Friday, June 29 with a gallery talk hosted by Moon herself at 5:30 p.m.
