The Orlando Museum of Art will be hosting a workshop on March 8 with Baltimore-based artist Michael Owen to teach Orlando residents different techniques involved with making street art.
Owen is known for creating large-scale mural works for galleries and organizations across the country. He has created over 100 murals, including one of the world’s largest – stretching over 1/4 mile long. He is best-known for his 20 piece Baltimore Love Project.
Owen recently completed a mural on the Southern Bank building in Downtown Orlando as part of the Creative City Project. Pictured below.
Workshop admission is $30 and includes all materials needed. Class starts at 6 pm. sharp and is limited to 20 students.
