The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida will be revealing their plans for their new home in the former Orlando Chamber of Commerce building in Ivanhoe Village.

The renderings, prepared by award-winning architect Maurizio Maso of HuntonBrady Architects, will be unveiled at a private event scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at the Dr. Phillips Center.

Maso is responsible for other Florida buildings like the UCF College of Medicine, the impending Mennollo Museum expansion, and the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences.

The move is a result of the Center outgrowing their current home in Maitland. The Chamber building was vacated when the Chamber merged with the Orlando Economic Development Commission last year. We wrote more about it HERE.

Editor’s Note: The rendering shown above was submitted for a design award with AIA Orlando and will not be used for the Chamber site. This design for for a new-build on a different site and was entitled “Unbuilt Honorable Mention – Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida HuntonBrady Architects, P.A.”
