The upcoming Enduring Beauty: Seminole Art and Culture exhibit at the Orlando Museum of Art is considered to be the largest collection of Florida Seminole material held in private hands.

The pieces are drawn from the collection of I.S.K. “Keith” Reeves V and Sara W. Reeves. The exhibit is meant to celebrate Seminole culture by sharing works of art, jewelry, and domestic crafts that present their heritage and history as Florida’s indigenous people.

Objects displayed in the exhibit include appliqued clothing, embroidery, beaded necklaces, woven baskets, dolls, and more.

Enduring Beauty runs from March 22 through July 8 at the Orlando Museum of Art, located at 2416 N. Mills Avenue [GMap].
