A Winter Park resident has been decorating her manatee mailbox in different holiday outfits for the past few years. But it’s recently made national headlines.
A UCF student, Marley Whitesell, has been posting photos of the ever-changing mailbox on her Twitter feed @marleyey and they’ve gone viral. At the time of this post her latest manatee post had over 15,000 retweets and 40,000 likes.
Her photos were just shared on Huffington Post, HERE, where you can see a whole collection of her photos.
The owners of the adorable box are Barbara and Keith Geil. They live in northeastern Winter Park/Orange County and we heartily approve of their work. We will not be posting their home address.
