The Orlando Indie Comedy Festival (Facebook | Website) will return in March, 2018 with more acts than ever. The festival committee received 140 applications from Florida comics alone and another 272 applications from across the country.
The festival is a volunteer-based event series that still manages to provide food, hotels, and transportation for traveling performers.
This is the fourth year of the festival and it will feature a national headliner on each night, that will be announced in mid-December (so, soon). Past headliners have included Sean Patton, Eddie Pepitone, Jackie Kashian, Mark Normand, and Trae Crowder.
Comics will be chosen from the submissions in the coming week and notified of whether or not they have been accepted into this year’s event.
The Orlando Indie Comedy Festival will run from Thursday, March 1-Sunday, March 4 in mulitple venues across Mills 50 and the Milk District.
