United Arts of Central Florida has announced its latest recipients in its Mini-Grants program; which includes both the Mini-Grants and the Arts Learning Mini-Grants programs.
This cycle’s recipients include:
- Asia Trend – $1,000 for their 2017 Asian Cultural Expo.
- Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Band and Color Guard – $1,000 for their upcoming production of Postcards from Home.
- Day Star Theatre Arts – $1,000 for their production of Hello Again, the Musical.
- HAPCO Music Foundation – $2,500 for their 2017-18 Season.
- Quest – $1,000 for their QKA for Arts program for children with disabilities.
- Orlando Community Arts – $2,000 for their production of Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker.
- Orlando Film Festival – $1,500 for their 2017 event.
- Orlando Urban Film Festival – $1,500 for their 2017 event.
- Playwrights’ Round Table – $1,500 for their 2017-18 Season.
- Public Arts and Music – $1,000 for the Lake County Folk Festival.
- Snap! Orlando – Awarded $2,000 for their exhibition LIMITED EDITION in cooperation with Flying Horse Editions.
- Tavares Theater – $1,000 for their productions of On Borrowed Time and Nutcrackers.
- Crealde School of Art – $2,500 for their Hands-on Inspiration: Crealde’s Visual Art Sampler.
- Orlando Health – $2,500 for their Together We Heal – Hope Hike program.
- Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra – $2,500 for its program Symphony Storytime Author in Residence.
- Orlando Repertory Theatre – $2,500 for its Engaged Learning Through the Arts program.
- Orlando Science Center – $1,500 for its STEAM Story Time program.
