The Orlando Museum of Art is hosting an Avatar-themed event featuring work inspired by the new Animal Kingdom attraction.
Giant earring-wearing John Rohde, a Walt Disney Imagineering executive, is flying in from California to host a talk on the role of art in creating theme parks. Tickets are $15 and the event begins at 6 p.m., Thursday, August 3. Rohde is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m.
There will also be live entertainment and complimentary food inspired by the new park, including items from Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar.
The following video was taken in 2014 at a Cast Member event where Rohde spoke on the Avatar expansion and was posted by BigFatPanda.
