Local Love Night: for Zebra Coalition
UPDATE: We were hoping that Local Love Night could be a way to showcase our new studio, but thanks to your amazing promotion of the event, it’s blown up to be way too big to host in our space. So as of this afternoon, I’m happy to report that Barbara Hartley, Executive Director of Downtown Arts District, has offered the City Arts Factory for the event, at no charge.

We’d love for you to contribute to Orlando’s LGBTQ community by sharing your feedback, insights and dreams. Please join The LGBTQ Alliance for a town hall, freely discussing immediate needs and long term desires. You will learn who we are, what we have done so far, and how you can get involved. The LGBTQ Alliance is made up of more than 20 of Central Florida’s LGBTQ-focused organizations, all with a variety of programs that serve our diverse community.

Orlando Cringe, a public diary reading
Remember falling in love in high school and telling your diary all about it? Now fast-forward a few decades and imagine reading that diary to a room full of strangers. It may sound terrifying, but it’s oh so funny. Orlando Cringe, the unique showcase where adults read from their childhood diaries and journals, returns with a Valentine’s Day-inspired show on February 8 at 7 p.m. at The Abbey in Orlando.

Paws in the Park
On February 11th, pet lovers from all over Central Florida will gather at beautiful Lake Eola to support the Pet Alliance’s mission to educate, shelter, place, and heal pets and their families with compassionate, responsible care. Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is one of the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare agencies. Since 1937, we have served Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties by providing programs aimed at ending pet homelessness through safety net services for families with pets, free spay/neuter clinics and affordable veterinary care. In addition to the services we directly provide to pets and their families, Pet Alliance is also focused on being a community voice for responsible pet ownership and animal care.
Cupid’s Undie Run – Orlando
BIG party. “Brief” run. Raising millions! Cupid’s Undie Run is a 4 hour party with a mile(ish) fun run in the middle. No, we’re not crazy, we’re just crazy serious about raising money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. We’re back!!! Lace up your skates and join us for PRIDE SKATE, a night to celebrate the unity of our entire community…on roller skates! A HUGE THANKS for the awesome turnout at our August event! Not only did you make the event a ton of fun, you helped raise over $9,000 to donate to the OneOrlando Fund & Zebra Coalition. For this next event, 100% of the proceeds will go to Zebra Coalition.
