Dr. Philips Charities (Website), the organization behind the development of The Packing District, has just launched a new microgrant program to help support nonprofit groups in both Orange and Osceola Counties.
Non-profits that work in arts and culture, children and youth, education, healthcare, and social services can apply for grants of $5,000 in general operating funds to help support their efforts.
Priority is given to projects that help decrease economic pressures on low-income families or increase literacy among children and adults. In addition, projects that encourage collaboration among community members and organizations will also be given priority.
Private schools and foundations are not eligible.
The last day for submissions is September 1. Click HERE to apply or for more information.
