The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens (Website) is hosting an upcoming exhibition that features paintings by the early 20th century artists Emma Sears Marsh and Joy Postle from August 27-December 1.
Emma Sears Marsh and Joy Postle were trailblazing artists at their time, painting and documenting wildlife and plants of Central Florida at a time when women simply weren’t accepted as artists.
The works on display are on loan from the collection of Lakes and Hills Garden Club in Mount Dora and the University of Central Florida Libraries.
