Orlando’s United States Representative Maxwell Frost is hosting a special concert on Saturday, March 2 in Loch Haven Park, and the lineup is giving young Democrat realness.
The current lineup includes queer indie darlings Muna, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Lin-Manuel Miranda from Hamilton, Rep. Justin Jones, R&B musician and social media phenom Melanie Faye, Rep. Anna Eskamani, Palomino Blond, I Met a Yeti, Kaelin Ellis, and Nohemy.
As you can tell from the names, the music will be interspersed with progressive political speeches and addresses, including Miranda, who will be preceded by a local choir before talking about the importance of music and arts in his life.
Tickets are available for purchase on a sliding scale, but with a recommended price tag of $35, HERE on the MadSoul website.
Here’s a video of Rep. Frost dancing and singing with Paramore during a concert in Washington, D.C.
