A new 10×10-foot shipping container will be popping up in Parramore in the coming months that will feature rotating art exhibits, according to local architects at Interstruct Inc.
The Orlando Cube Gallery project is being spearheaded by Interstruct founder Ryan Young, who we wrote about recently HERE for his Augmented Reality mural project with Snap! Downtown. The new shipping container gallery will feature an exterior video screen facing the right-of-way to display rotating video art by participating artists and will rotate every two months and will host events when new art is debuted on the screen.
The gallery will be curated by Pat Greene who most recently hosted an installation called The Corridor Project Billboard Exhibition, which featured works by local artists on billboards lining the I-4 corridor.
The Cube Gallery will be located at 808 W. Church Street [GMap] outside the Interstruct offices and the new home of Purple Rock Scissors.
