As first reported by WFTV 9, a Banksy-inspired exhibit will be coming to Orlando in November.
Banksyland is scheduled to open in Orlando on November 11 through the 13th as part of a 22-city tour that kicked off in Portland earlier in 2022. Described as the “first-ever Orlando exhibit” for the infamous street artist, Banksyland promises to feature over 80 pieces and installations as well as salvaged artworks, some of which have never been seen before, in an undisclosed location in “downtown Orlando” that they promise to release two week s prior to opening – though you may recall the Van Gogh event that was coming to “historic downtown Orlando” last December and ended up at the Orange County Convention Center.
Tickets start at $29 per person and are sold in 30-minute increments. Tickets are available for purchase HERE.
Despite the declarations of authenticity on the event website, according to the artist’s watchdog website, Pest Control, the exhibit isn’t really affiliated with him at all. A fact that was confirmed by a report by Portland Tribune‘s Joseph Gallivan this past April, when the organizer shared that it’s simply an “unauthorized” show of Banksy’s work.
