Michael Owen, the arist behind the Baltimore Love Project (Website) is bringing one of his murals to Orlando. Owen previously painted a large-scale mural for the Creative City Project, and hosted a street art workshop at the Orlando Museum of Art, which we wrote about HERE.
Owen is back in Orlando to paint a site-specific LOVE hands mural across the street from Pulse nightclub, on the side of Einstein’s Bagel in Downtown South [GMap]. This one will sport 49 orange blossoms, along with his signature hand silouettes spelling out the word, “love.” The mural is already approved by the City, but Owen and his team are hoping to raise $3,000 to cover supplies, lift rental, and transportation.
