The Art and History Museums – Maitland (Facebook | Website) will be hosting an online art auction running from noon July 15 through 5 p.m. July 17.
The 2021 Summer Art Auction, Fresh Perspectives, will feature the work of emerging and mid-career artists from abroad alongside local creatives. The museum will be giving 25 percent of each sale back to the participating artists and the rest will be used to support their ongoing programming.
Participants will have the option to skip the bidding options and use a “buy it now” option to pay a suggested price per item.
