The Ivanhoe Village Main Street (Facebook | Website) is launching a new public art initiative that features panels instead of traditional wall murals.
The project will feature a series of 4×8-foot vertical panels that will be affixed to surfaces across the district that will be visible to pedestrians and passing traffic.
A Call to Artists was just issued HERE with an honorarium of $500 available for accepted artists, which includes the budget for supplies.
All applications must be submitted by June 30, 2021 with selected artists being notified by July 8, 2021. Panels are expected to be completed by August 8, 2021.
A list of locations where the panels will be installed has not been released at this time.
