Orlando Health has unveiled their Memorial Paver Garden on the shore of Lake Beauty Park today, September 26, 2016.
The forty-nine limestone pavers feature the names of the lives lost in the June nightclub tragedy, just around the corner from the hospital. The pavers have been placed in a circular design around the hospital’s entryway fountain, forming a memorial garden at Lake Beauty Park on the Orlando Health campus. The memorial garden is now open for visitors.
This is the first permanent memorial in the City for the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting and was designed by GAI Consultants. The construction work was carried out by Gomez Construction Company, as shown in the photos below, care of Orlando Health.
We wrote about the hospital’s intentions to build the memorial back in July, HERE.
