The City of Orlando, in partnership with United Arts of Central Florida, is looking to appoint Orlando’s next Poet Laureate.
The position, which launched in 2017 with Orlando’s first-ever official poet, Susan Lilley, is a ceremonial appointment serving as a fixture in the city’s cultural, literary, and visual art programming where they’ll present original works of poetry. Like this piece below.

The nominee must be a Central Florida resident, over the age of 21, and not enrolled in a full-time academic program.
