Hawkers Asian Street Fare (Facebook | Website) is offering a special Lunar New Year takeout option through February 26 with a chance to win prizes ranging from free menu items to free takeout for a year.
Guests can purchase an “Ox Box” for $36.88 (those are lucky numbers right now for the Year of the Ox) that will include six lucky dishes that are traditionally eaten for the holiday:
- Singapore Mei Fun
- Chicken Lo Mein
- Yi-Yi’s Chicken Dumplings
- Spring Rolls
- Hawker’s Delight
- Sugared Donuts with Orange glaze
Each box will also include a Hongbao, a red envelope with a prize – in honor of the traditional gifting of red envelopes filled with money during the holiday. Also included in each box will be a special confetti popper, a QR code to link you to a video of a traditional Lion Dance, and an information card on how to celebrate the holiday at home.
