Recently-passed urbanist Jay Walljasper, author of The Great Neighborhood Book, wrote in his last published piece for Notre Dame Magazine about the value of a bucket list versus a “love-it” list – a list of items that bring you simple joy versus faraway experiences that likely come with an exorbitant credit card bill like heading to the Full Moon Party in Thailand or taking a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey.
So, inspired by his writing, we did just that.
