A new round of sculptures is now on display at the Orange County Administration Building in Downtown Orlando. The last group of artworks went up in July of 2015, which we wrote about HERE, but their time has come to an end.
The Public Art Review Board, overseen by the Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs Advisory Council, reviewed over 100 sculptures submitted by over three dozen artists and chose the following works to be displayed on the Admin building lawn for the next year at 201 S. Rosalind Avenue [Gmap]. The Board raised $15,000 in private funds to rent the sculptures from the artists for that length of time.
The official ribbon cutting and exhibition is scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at 6 p.m.
