  1. The new owners of the Bank of America Building downtown are rehabbing the exterior courtyard adjoined to DoveCote and it already looks like Miami and Versailles had a baby.
  2. Some new designs for the lofty Vertical Medical City have surfaced but we’re still questioning if it will actually get built.
  3. City Hall’s new permitting office looks like a coworking space/coffee shop and we’re not mad about it.
  4. The City has designated new special “food truck zones” as part of their in-the-works Rideshare Hubs project.
  5. City Hall is removing over 20 trees along Edgewater Drive, but they’re mostly palms.
  6. A former Disney chef opened a patisserie in the Hourglass District and we loved everything in there.
  7. Former principal Felix E. Cosby will be getting a street named after him in recognition of his lifelong service to his community.
